being in Nature: Green and blue spaces

Green and blue spaces heal, and like many, I am soothed and settled by them. Planet earth is beautiful, but can be a tough space to be. I am grateful for all healing modalities, including being in nature. If you can, take a walk in the park or go on a hike, or travel to a green or blue space so you can let it all go, Or do something simple and wonderful….sit under a tree, bird watch, pull some weeds from a garden, lay on your back and look at the sky or the stars, or simply put your bare feet on the ground and grass and breathe.

It’s important to unplug from our electronics at times. Something I wrote before going to a green and blue space:

Time to unplug. There is a lot of stimulation in our day to day, and I feel it’s important for my emotional well-being to take breaks so i can rest and restore. See you on the other side. I’ll be resting in some green and blue space for a while. I hope you give yourself this gift sometimes, too.
